Rimonabant.
Rimonabant is prescribed if you need some help with losing your weight but can't achieve the result necessary by eating less and exercising. However, rimonabant is supposed to be combined with a healthier diet and exercise. Unlike commonly thought, this drug is not going to burn your fat, rather than reduce your food cravings and make it possible for you to eat less. You will eat less, exercise more and your body will start burning the fat accumulated, as it is not going to get the same amount of it with food. Rimonabant has been reported to interfere with quite some drugs you may be taking, so you will need to report any of the following ones to your health care provider: rifampicin, St. John’s wort, antifungals, HIV medications, epilepsy drugs, medicines for weight loss, drugs for normal blood lipid levels, antibiotics, antidepressants, antidiabetes medications, depression medications, or any other prescription and over-the-counter products you may be using. Never share your dose of rimonabant with other people to whom it was not prescribed. Doing so may trigger negative response in those people, as they may have a number of contraindications you are not aware of.
