That Kid From The Go…

What to say about this guy…? He is from Chicago, IL; I think that is a pretty good starting statement. His name is BJ, which is followed by the words “the Chicago Kid”. And, in his music you can hear how the soulful sounds of the Chicago area have influenced his own sound. This dude is definitely ahead of his time with his music, which seems like it is completely timeless in the least. I believe that his musical vocalism is very similar to Raheem Devaughn, though way more soulful. And, many of you might not know of him from his music, but you have seen him on some Maestro Knows Tour Edition episodes. At the time of some of those episodes I am speaking of he was a background singer for Anthony Hamilton. Although, some of you may know some of the tracks he has appeared on from Diz Gibran’s “Truly Yours” & Dom Kennedy’s “C.N.O.A.T”.
